Roy Donoghue Independant Financial Adviser

Roy Donoghue, Independent Financial Adviser

Roy lives in Leamington Spa but operates as an IFA across the whole of the UK– with the vast majority of his clients in the CV post-code area. He has been a director, manager and IFA in financial services for 25 years. However, for the last 6 years, he has practised only as an IFA – because he prefers the process of building trusting relationships with people who want financial planning advice that they can trust. Roy achieves this by explaining things in plain English, staying in touch to ensure clients’ plans continue to do what they wanted them to do, and by always agreeing the next review date at the current meeting.

Roy says he gets great professional satisfaction from helping his clients to achieve the very best investment, retirement and protection strategies and he stays in touch to ensure that their plans (and he) deliver as promised.

Roy’s motto in financial services has always been very client-centred: “Listen to what people want; ensure they also have what they need and agree twice-yearly review meetings in advance, in order to ensure plans and strategies remain the best.”

He has been happily married to Julia since 1994 and they have two fabulous children. Roy keeps his mind and body fit by working out in the gym about 5 times a week and enjoying the company of good friends and family.
